ok well my husband and i have been experimenting trying to find a type of bc we both enjoy. i used it two days ago with no problems i just found it weird and we tried it again today and after sex i was itchy and crampy and realized the spermicide must not agree with me (im normally sensitive) and i couldnt stand it and had to take it out. i had it in for 2 hrs and the instructions say keep it in for 6 hrs after sex. im due for my period any day now so i figure i ovulated a while ago (mind you i just had a baby 4 months ago and they're kinjd of irregular). i just couldnt keep it in it was like... burning me. is this ok even tho i couldnt follow the directions 100%? would i be mostly covered since it was in there for 2 hrs? would it really take six full hrs to kill it?

ooh I don't know but I have a sensitive cooch too so I prolly would have had the same reaction. I'm looking for a good method of bc though and just got prescribed the Vaginal ring eventhough I heard it squeezes the man's penis and is painful for him(my neighbor told me) I'm going to try it and see. Have you thought of getting that copper implant thing that they place in your uterus? I was going to get it but papsmears are painful for me so I couldn't imagine how bad that would hurt. Well good luck and if God means for you to have a baby you will.

well since the todays sponge is not a reliable birth control you will probably get pregnant. where i live the todays sponge is no more. as more women got pregnant with it,

use condoms or go get on the pill both are alot safer
