My friend is having computer problems. She has not had a current antivirus program since 2002! Her system is a Windows Millennium Edition, which is very outdated. Many antivirus programs don't support it. As far as I can tell, neither Norton nor McAfee are compatible. What is the best current antivirus software that will run on her system?

McAfee does appear to be compatible, at least according to this page:

Norton did stop support for Windows ME.

Avast! is compatible.

AVG is compatible, but it will only be supported until this time next year.

Kaspersky does not appear to be compatible, at least in Home versions.
