Yes by accident! Everything is left in the house eg. your house keys, your mobile phone, car keys, money, mycard. None of your neighbour's around. You don't memorised anyone's number and you don't have the locksmith's number to come to your aid. Ideas?

When I was 3 years old, my siblings & I played hide & seek. They knew I was well hidden in the old room, without me knowing they locked it up.
About a few hours later, my mum came to find me. B'cs I'm always the noisy the one at home except when playing games like "who can kept mum the longest, hide & seek & some pranks".

Anyway after calling out for me, she knew I was in that room & tried to open it but the ol'wooden door were jammed
We didn't have any spare keys. I didn't make a sound in the beginning & after a while, I totally forgot what happend.
My mum cried because everyone thought I was dead inside there. (It's only later, she told me that I was locked up more thn 6 hours, without any day meals & water & I fell asleep UNDER the masterbed.)

My neighbors drove d' locksmith uncle to my house to open the door & make a spare key.

Thus the answer are:-
1) always keep a spare key
2) always update your area's locksmith's location in your mind
else cry like my mum.

Oh yeah my friend's relative once called the Bomba before to pry open the door, because got locked out while gas is on & they've a baby inside :O

Ive been locked out of my house half a dozen times and ud think by now i would learn to keep extra keys at my neighbours or relatives but i havent.
Cause i got away with it everytime is a routine procedure for me now.
My bathroom window which isnt too huge but has glass panes that are like horizontal blinds so i jus use my hands to bend open the alimunium frame that holds each piece of glass and careful keep em at side then i climb in through window.Carefully step on potty making sure my leg doesnt slip and go into the potty but it hasnt happened untill now and Wallah im in my house ,I just make sure nobody is around when i am pulling this stunt .I pretend like im taking out the glass to clean them and besides nobody would dare enter my house like that my dogs are scary,

Break the window!! It will cost less than calling the locksmith and is easier to fix! In the future keep a spare key in your car or buried somewhere for emergencys. Yes, That old hind sight really helps doesn't it. good luck

Is there a neighbor or relative close by that you really trust? If they have an axillary key that might be a good idea. Also, if you have combo locks on a garage or shed, hiding a key in there might be a consideration. (But watch out for spiders.) Good luck, and I think this helps. :)

this happened to me a few weeks ago... I simply went to an open window and steathly popped the screan out... and crawled in.... it was easier than I expected...

if i didn't have that luxury though... I'd probably just put a note on the door and just walk to a friends house...
