Anticipation: You now have a reason to go back, even if the movie you're seeing the previews in isn't that great, you don't have a total loss: Usually, if I don't get to a theater in time for the previews, I don't go in to the movie; I wait 'til a later show.

They entice people to return to the theater to watch a new movie coming out. I like watching the previews. When I'm with someone, we give a "thumbs up"or a "thumbs down" for the upcoming movie. Unfortunately, by the next day, we rarely can remember the various titles of the movie previews that we saw--unless they are short or unique.

It pretty much gives people extra time get to to the movie, turn off cell phones, gossip, and chew loud on popcorn but at the same time lets those that love movies see what's coming out within the near future. For instance the Transformers movie gave everyone a really cool trailer to up and coming movie due out on 1-18-08 and that has everyone excited.
I'm okay with trailers just as long as they're for good movies and not stupid ones.

Hahaha! I LOVE seeing the previews. You get to hear that *announcer guy* say something in a overtly dramatic voice like, "You thought nothing could scare you. You thought WRONG...on Sept blah blah, we invite you to experience a level of Hell that you could never imagine...." (sounds of a chainsaw in the background) And it's even funnier when Sly Stallone or some other lame actor is playing the title role. I always laugh during the previews.

I like'em more than some movies , cause sometimes movies r just waste of time , but when you see the preview ur like whoa!
and i like some of dvd's filled with trailers

I like to see upcoming info about new movies...and sit there and make fun of the lame movies with my friends.

Ummm...so I can know what's coming out soon? I think that's it. Yes, it is. I mean, I don't freak out if I miss some or all of them, but I do like to see what's coming soon.

Because it tells you what movies are comming out so that you can be prepared.....You can say to your date "We are sooooo going to see that movie when it comes out." or "That doesn't look good at all."
