There are some women who do NOT like to be told anything....to the extent they leave the house...if things do not got their way... You are one of them.... To the extent you can leave the house or NOT reconcile...when opportunity is knocking after 5.5 years...
Such a situation is very dangerous for both of us....
So the answer is clear.... BY your actions... and inactions... and stubborness....
Ask yourself.... Have you been a RESPONSIBLE person looking out for the family's interest and future ?
You have still not admitted that you removed the jewelry.... so that would always be a sore issue... as I would touch it... Only YOU or my Mom has removed it... There is NO one else...
So I guess... you still did NOT become honest and admit a thing you did... I would have loved to see you or the child wear and enjoy it... But to you hiding such petty things are more important... than WINNING ME... YOUR MARRIAGE AND MAKING A LIFE.

I hope you were only THINKING of reuniting with him, and did not do it! He sounds like a very self centered and controlling person, who wants everything his way! From the sounds of the e mail, you would be paying for what he perceives as your mistakes, lies, weakness, (or whatever) for the rest of your life if you went back to him. So, in my view, you would never have a happy marriage with him, and you are lucky to have got away! Put this experience behind you, and go forward, make a new life for yourself without this self inflated person in it.

I just sit here an shake my head and wonder where the he--ll does this guy come from. I can only think of a couple of things- first as you know I thin he is highly manipulative and controlling OR he is not over you and is obsessed with you. As for the jewelery thing only you can answer that as it is something you have not shared or discussed. I REALLY NEED you to take a look and re-read the statement about winning, your marriage-- STOP THERE- winning? is this a contest?- your marriage? your divorced. He really needs to wake up- all of these statements should be in the past tense. If you have screwed up then so be it- you can deal with it and as for admitting your weakness he is not your confessor. SHAKING MY HEAD!!!!!! STAREYES NEED i SAY A WHOLE BUNCH MORE.
