not gross, but not wise either. Too big of a risk in this day and age. And even if his motives are pure, it just SOUNDS like he is trying to take advantage. It also makes him sound very immature. No guy in his 20s that I know would be caught dead with a 15 year old unless he wanted something. That is College senior vs. high school freshman ages. Totally different peer group and legal activities.
If he really wants the girl for who she is, he will be willing to wait a couple of years until she is 18.

It is gross for a 20+ man to be with a 15 yr old, YES. my 15 yr old good friend messed around with a 21 year old a month ago and WOW did he get hell for that. When I was 16, I met my boyfriend and he was 20. Now he's almost 22 and I'm almost 18. Our birthdays are two days apart, and 4 years. But the difference with that is I am almost a legal adult and NOT a sophomore, I am graduated. That in case, your "friend" or YOU or whoever is dating a 20+ guy, needs to STOP or ask him what the hell he wants out of this relationship. But i do agree that MOST guys dating younger girls only want sex.

First of all, there is no law prohibiting a man in his twenties from going out on dates with a fifteen year old girl. That aside, it is odd that a teenage girl would want to date a man in his twenties. Same thing goes for a man in his twenties wanting to date a teenage girl. It isn't gross or immoral, just unusual. Such relationships will always bring on suspicions, scrutiny, and judgments from others, and understandably so, but this doesn't mean a respectable, moral relationship cannot be had between two such people. What is a potential problem is the couple wanting to further express their love for each other through sex. If the girl is not of consenting age (17 years for most states in the USA, but some say 16 or 18), then having sex can lead to terrible legal trouble for the adult male. It is best to proceed with great care and caution with a relationship between a teenage girl and an adult male; however, it would be even wiser to avoid such a relationship altogether.

I personally have no idea why a guy that old would date someone so young. What does a 20 year old have in common with someone 15? NOTHING! I have a neighbor who is 19 and always hitting on 13 and 14 year olds and when i catch him I kick his butt each and every time! Its because women his own age know he is a loser so he hits on the young ones that dont know better yet! Alot of girls think older guys are more mature....NOT SO! Most men dont even know what they want until they are 30! lol Stick with your own age up to about 17. The older ones are only out for one thing!

completely gross. My first boyfriend was 22 when I was 15. I didn't mind then, but now that I am much older (married with kids) I realize what a perv that 22 year old was. I mean, I know why a 15 year old would want to date the 22 year old, but why on earth would the 22 year old want to date the 15 year old? Because he's a perverted control freak who can't date women his own age. Trust me. It won't work out very well-I promise! Tell him (the 22 year old) to go kick rocks and date someone his own age. The 22 year old is truly messed up.

the one thing you really have to think about it what exactly does a 20 year old guy want with a 15 year old girl? most likely not the same thing you do hun! I've been down this road.. i was 16 and he was 21 and i will tell you its nice to be wanted by someone older.. but it never goes right their is always an alliterative motive.

What's gross is for a man to be interested in a teenager. Although 5, 6, 7 years age difference is not much for adults, (my best friend is 38 and her husband is 33) it is huge for a 15-year-old. Kids need to date kids their own age because they will have similar interests and agendas. Adults need to stick to dating other adults.
Plus, there is the legality of the "jailbait" issue.

Yeah. Someone who's not able to drive dating someone who's probably able to drink? Gross. Any mother in her right mind wouldn't let her 15-year old date a 20-something.

yes.
they cant find people their own age and maturity level?
no matter how mature said 15 year old is, being in your 20s is an entirely different type of maturity.
