Apparently if it has a guitar, it's Satanic.

You've heard from some old school fundamentalists. Yeah there's some Christian bands (Evanescence is not one of them! Google it) Look, music isn't Christian or secular. Christian is a noun not an adjective. Most Christian rock sucks. I can say this because I used to be a Christian rock DJ. Look, if the music isn't bringing you down then it's okay. There's some bands that are Christians but still tour with secular rock. For example, Thousand Foot Krutch is a Christian band and they grew up with secular band Three Days Grace. They tour together sometimes. It's all good. Rock music is awesome. Music is awesome as long as it doesn't bring you down.

That has got to be a joke. John Lennon, The Beach Boys, Johnny Cash...???? That's going a bit overboard (well, not just a bit but majorly).

A few years ago I saw a special on TV about all the "satanic" bands...The Stones were on there, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin and so many others. It was very amusing....this is the kind of stuff that turns people away from Christianity. I mean, who wants to be a part of something that won't allow you to do anything else?

HAHAHA! That's amazing, did you see the part where they basically claim that Amy Grant's music is satanic. lol, brilliant! And Freddy Mercury, and The Beatles... aw, I love it! Thanks for that, I love a good laugh. The music in the background was pretty cool too. This is either the greatest joke I've seen in a while, or else whoever is behind this is a complete idiot.

checked it out, interesting -- the music background is creepy (ironic -- or deliberate, cf dealing with Satanic stuff) -- some things apparently true -- J.Page, at least, of Led Zep nominally Satanist, or at least devotee of A. Crowley, Beatles here called 'God-haters' -- maybe true in a way [John Lennon an egomaniac at least, made himself a 'god'?], the Premature Death thing absolutely true -- average age 37 comp. to American life-expectancy 75 -- (& I personally saw 2 of people-on-list in Concert) -- most won't argue, Heavy Metal e.g., by its very nature & own admission, has Satanic associations -- & some things self-evident, about witchcraft etc. -- adherents admit their god is Satan -- this not matter of being 'brainwashed' by Christian site;
only-to-say: asker's inference, about el. guitar in itself, incorrect -- Phil Keaggy, one of the great guitarists [e.g, Jimi Henrix said so!/ check it out] is quintessential Christian-music artist, in Keaggy band etc. It's obviously the Music-as-a-whole, lyrics style message feel etc., that shows a certain philosophy not one instrument or another --
A complicated field -- the site-in-question fundamentalist 'tis true, but it more-or-less based on fact I'd say.
(edit)
to RQ:
Whaaat? Christians "are INSANE"? Not only PI [Politically Incorrect] but THIS extreme, & intolerant -- & I guess drug-addled Rock Musicians are mentally 'STABLE'? Christianity aims for peace-of-mind & sanity... [Compare: Insane antics of demonic Metal performances; & suicide often natural result of built-in death-wish]. Again, maybe the Website a bit fundamentalist, but the foundation I'd say is true: lot of violence in modern pop-mucic, compared to Christian values i.e a more positive philosophy.
finally -- let's say a Rocker 'changes his ways' [I personally have, to a great extent, with God's help], and is on deathbed at age of 70 or something, in peace health & clear conscience -- the question can be (to answer Asker) Who's Laughing Now?
