The dictionary defines an animal as
"A multicellular organism of the kingdom Animalia"
There are 5 kingdoms-
Animal Kingdom
Plant Kingdom
Fungi Kingdom
Protist Kingdom
Moneran Kingdom
We can agree that a frog is not a plant or a fungi
Protist are either unicellular, or they are multicellular without highly specialized tissues. A frog has highly specialized tissues, so protist is out.
To be in the moneran kingdom, an organism must have one cell, and a frog definetly has more than one cell.
process of elimination, the frog is technically an animal

What do you mean, is it considered an animal? It IS an animal! The animal kingdom is quite large, and stretches from frogs and humans and ducks and mice all the way to spiders and jellyfish and sea anemones and nematodes. Certainly frogs are included.
