what do you guys think about the dbacks? are they a real promise for october?what about mark reynolds awful record?

Hey girl, its always nice to hear from a d-backs fan :)
I cannot wait till they start their series vs. the Padres tomorrow, if we can get 3 out 4 or even split it then we should be good for October, I love our pitching our bullpen is doing so well, I don't like how our offense is kinda dying off these past few games. But they are winning when they need to that's whats important.
Mark needs to be benched for awhile, he's a young one and we don't need guys that hit for crap in our line up right now, these games a far too important

like the Baseball Nut said they're good but not legit. They're gonna stumble in the end and thats the same for the Mariners. Their hitting for this year isnt good/living up to its potential -- Drew, Young (only worth HRs recently), Mark Reynolds, Upton (cant be a good every day player for his rookie season). Their strong point is their pitching and i dont see how thats keeping them afloat -- only good one IMO is Brandon Webb. Hernandez can't keep it up and Owings just isnt that good. Also being in a sub-par division helps the D-Backs a ton. I think they may stumble into the playoffs and get the boot 1st round. Hope I answered this question like you wanted.

first off, amrk reynolds is a good player but will be the future 3rd baseman, its just a coincicence his record
the diamondbacks are for real as making the playoffs
however the pitching depth and expirience isnt enough to take them deep
look for them in 2 years to be serious world series contenders if they make good free agent pitching aquisitions

I think the Diamondbacks will make the WORLD SERIES!
They are the hotest team in the National League.
My prediction in the World Series is the Diamondbacks and the Mariners (Sorry Red Sox)

i'm proud of them n yes i say they have a shot
Even though i'm an angel fan
after always seeing them like in third place or last in their division i'm hoping that they win it and go to the playoffs :)
p.s. i like rooting for the teams that haven't been to the playoffs in like forever. i feel like they need a shot. i mean yankees can rest this postseason. enough ;)

I think they are good, but not legit yet.
The main reason they are in first is that the other teams in their division are having very bad years.

D'Backs are cool because of their great pitching. But if you look at all of their stats compared to other division leaders, they aren't as good.
