make up colors?

hey I was just wondering if shimmery grey eye shadow works for blue eyes,
and if it does, should I wear it on the first day of school or stick with natural colors?

Stick with natural colors. If you want, you can use brown eyeliner because it picks up the blue in blue eyes. Also, try wearing something blue because it brings out blue A LOT. I have blue eyes, and when I wear a bright blue, my eyes look soooooo blue its freakin' crazy!

But in all seriousness go with the natural colors because you don't want to shock people or anything, and I think people tend to focus more on classes/schedules the first day then who's wearing eyeshadow.

Shimmer grey would be pretty with blue or green eyes. I think you can wear this shadow tastefully without looking like you're going to a party or looking too made up. For your liner try using a charcoal grey instead of black. You could also mix the grey with a natural color like a very shimmery beige or peach just to offset. For mascara use whatever color you normally use (black or brown) but just don't over do it. Also, stick with lip gloss instead of lipstick. This way your grey shadow will look casual and yet edgy enough for school. Good luck!

Yes, shimmery grey shadow works w/ blue eyes but not for school/day time.

Brown makes blue eyes pop. Try a coffee brown eyeliner tight against the upper lash line & mascara for a pretty day time look. Pair w/ a sheer, your lips but better lip color.

Gray eyeshadow is great for blue eyes. Also try;
greens
aquas
blues that contrast with eye color - if you have bright blue, use baby or smoke blue, etc.
purples
rosy browns
Accent colors:
white
pink
silver
Everyday: stick with neutral, light, or matte colors, but a LITTLE shimmer is ok. Wear with neutral liner and mascara.

With pretty eyes like yours, I say go with lighter colors, like light brown, that makes them noticeable. Grey is more for people with eyes that don't have a pretty color, like brown eyed girls like me. They help us bring out color in our eye. Your lucky, I would kill to have blue eyes. Good luck!

shimmery grey would look nice, but don't lyk cake it on,,, lol. but i don't use blue... i think it looks slutty... i like white, lite pink, tan, brownish...
