does anyone know any good colleges in NYC besides NYU?

Columbia is best -- followed by NYU.

The only other college in NYC that I would even think about is Fordham.

You can filter colleges geographically at Princeton Review's web site. They even have a tool that tells you which ones are appropriate for you.
