coins, the Denver mint produces a lot of money.
I'm sure there are thousands of people that were born in Colorado and are somewhere else now.
there are mines for gold, silver, uranium.
part of the continental divide is in Colorado.
in the 1970s Denver was the first and currently the only city in the history of the Olympics to win the winter games (or any games for that matter) and then turn them down. So if any other city in the world ever does that they will just be following the example set by Denver.
a fair number of the parts used in space vehicles are produced in Colorado.
I'm sure there are lot of other things too!
