Alton Brown! I think he's very funny and very intelligent; I love the scientific aspect to his main show, Good Eats. I also think he does the best job teaching cuisine and cooking as opposed to just recipes. He covers the entirety (or at least, a lot of) one issue as opposed to merely making a meal. This teaches you to experiment and learn as opposed to just copy the chef.
He's just a lot of fun.

My absolute favorite is Giada De Laurentiis. She makes fresh, delicious-looking Italian food. She changes traditional dishes just a bit to make them healthier. And, as she cooks, she is careful to quickly explain to those of us that suck at cooking exactly what it is she's doing, and why. And she is absolutely gorgeous!
I also like Cat Cora. She is not on the Food Network much, but when she is, I love to watch. She is, I think, the only female Iron Chef, she cooks great-looking food, and she seems like a really cool person.
Masaharu Morimoto is also one of my favorites. He is the coolest Iron Chef ever!
Honorable mention: Iron Chef Sakai. He was the bomb!lol

Maurimoto from Iron Chef. I just think he is the best chef on the whole network I also like Alton Brown because he's funny and interesting and knows entirely too much about food. Oh and Duff from Ace of Cakes he has a unique and funny take on his cooking.

My top 2 faves are Racheal Ray and Paula Deen. I like Rach for her easy recipes and her friendly nature. I like Paula cause the woman can cook the heck out a chicken!!! I took my mom to The Lady and Sons for Mothers Day. It was great! We are going to make it an annual trip.
I'm watching the food network as we speak!

Ohh thats a tie,, Paula Dean because she seems to be just a good downhome woman, would love to sit and talk to her one on one. The other one would be Chef Duff from Ace of Cakes, he is so cute and funny and a heck of an artist.

ABC's Emeril Lagasse, because he owns a great restaurant in New Orleans and has written eight books on food!

Giada makes some great food. Her recipes are simple and delicious and usually use reasonably priced ingredients. I've tried several of her recipes, all of which have become keeper recipes in my cooking repertoire. Try her spinach pesto- its awesome on chicken and fish.
