Ok this year I'm going into high school & I'm unable to run/jump, well at least not yet. Earlier on last year I had a foot deformity and I had surgery on my foot and my foot is no longer deformed, yet is still weak and not as strong as my right foot/leg therefore I can't run/jump. I can walk fine and I don't want it to seem like I'm making excuses to get out of the exercise, i'm just really confused. Don't tell me to get a doctor's note or anything because the surgery was like a year ago, so I can't go back to that hospital now.

Any advice would be appreciated..

Have your mom or dad write a note, or just explain that you had surgery on it a year ago.

actually you can go back to the office and ask for a note. if they think you are able to run and jump then they wont give you a note and you shouldnt need one if they think that.

but if they think you are right they will give you a note.
also try having your mom give you one.
or you could just say "hey i had surgery and i am unable to do certain things with my left leg/foot, but i will do everything i can"

Get a note from the doctor's office. Then take copies to the PE teacher and the school clinic.

Stop by the school nurse's office and talk to them. They'll know exactly what you need to do, and might talk to the gym teacher for you if you are embarrassed to do it yourself.

You might feel better doing some alternate form of phys ed instead of always being singled out in a class full of your classmates. Your school may have some options for you.

Have your mom or dad write the school a note explaining what you just said and they should except that as a good reason.

You can go to your doctor and have him or her examine your foot and write a note...Schools just love doctor's notes.
