We should not be creating situation that trap us into financing foreign countries wars.

We have no choice at this time, but in the future we should operate differently and with more wisdom.

The military industrial complex needs Israel as a second source for defense related part so they can sell to foreign governments that we may fall out of graces with (they would get spare parts from Israel)

Now that Israel is created it must mature into a pluralistic nation and not be controlled by extrema elements. To accomplish this we must keep them dependent on us, a US protectorate of sorts.

What are you talking about Israel is a stabilizing force. Thats bull... look Israel does more to destabilize the region more than any other factor.

How is Israel an extension of the United States?? There's no way a sane, literate person can say this and uphold such a ludicrous opinion.

The truth is Israel discrimated against Arabs in its own countries and Arabs in other lands ( Palestinian territory). Why? Because no one has reined it in.

Israel is like this big child whose never been taught discipline. Its time for the US to stand up, try to reclaim any sense of morality it still posseses and cut off the 4bn a year of tax payers money it gives to those people.

do you mean the one against lebanon recently? not only did the U.S. fund that but it was also their idea and it was planned before Hizbollah grabbed those 2 soldiers. Israel has never reacted before with that level of insanity. that was 'shock and awe'. i don't think anyone supports that. it was a major disaster for Israel.

but if you mean in general funding is complicated. if Israel were cut off thry would bomb the Saudi oil fields (they threatened to do this before in the 80s) and who knows what else. I am against Israel's human rights record which is one of the worst. i think the US should reduce the funding and require Israel to comply with international law which would require dismatling the settlements (which are illegal) withdraw to the june 67 borders, dismantle the security wall (which was unanimously ruled illegal by the world court) etc. etc.

You talk as if Israel's military bills are completely subsidized by the US. Although the US helps, Israel has to foot most of the bill.

So, if you mean "Should the USA help Israel out by supplying military hardware" then the answer is Yes.

I'm not against it because if you really think about, its more or less israel against the world, everyone hates them, and if they can defend themselves better with the money that the US is giving them, then i think its all for the better.
on the other hand, a good example is the conflict between israel and lebenon, the israelis used their bombs to kill inocent Lebonese people.
