He has conviction and good, old, American "stick-to-ativeness". Other countries know that when he says America will do something on a certain day, that it will happen, unlike Clinton. Nothing is more important than the world believing that we will do what we say, that we are people of our word. All other world leader's knew what a liar he was before he left office, look how he screwed the Russians in Iceland, word got around between these diplomats that Clinton's word could not be trusted.
PS -- Name calling is the lowest form of political dialog

Two things no one seems to remember when discussing the war in Iraq are a) it began as the war on terror, and is still an effort to root out terrorism and b) never before has terrorism taken the form it does today. Modern terrorism is hard to fight and harder to eradicate.
Before we judge Bush for taking out troops over there, let's keep in mind that the terrorists came here first. Bush's methods aren't working; I'll give his opponents that much. But he's doing the best he can with the information he's got. There is no precedent for solving the problem America was saddled with on September 11, 2001.
I'd say Bush is acting with courage. It's not turning out as he'd hoped, but he did what he thought best, and he didn't let buckets of criticism keep him from action. If he'd done nothing, that would have been a much larger crime against the memories of the three thousand people who died on 9/11, and against our own national security.

Bush, as well as many presidents in recent history, do not truly lead. He is (and they are) simply a spokesperson for the party, whose speeches are written by advisors. The decisions of presidents are almost purely political, rather than having anything to do with the true interests of the country.
Only when the country's voters unite behind a certain call for change do politicians follow suit. That's why it's more important for lay people to discuss the real issues (not hot-buttons) rather than the perceived qualities of the hollow politicians who pretend to care about them.

President Bush has great courage. What I respect most about our President is that he does what is right even when he knows he will face the heat for it. Unpopular decisions are made by him and he doesn't apologize for making them. He is a strong leader; a strong human being and I disagree with one thing. That one thing is pushing Israel to return the land that God gave them and not Britain. The land of Israel never belonged to Britain to give to Israel. Israel is the only country in this world with a God given deed to their land.
I ask our President to always stand by Israel. I ask our President to never forget who the God of America is and to always uphold the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whose Son is Jesus the Christ our Savior in this land.
I ask our President to keep our land under God's laws and fight the pursuit of lawlessness which is being pushed down our throats by the ungodly. I ask our President to remember that "we the people" are the highest authority in this country and not the ungodly courts of this land. I ask our President to demand that Congress take back making laws and to keep law making out of the courts.

Definitely with courage. To face what he has faced in his presidency and still keep our economy strong and his head up takes more than most people could handle.
As a woman and a wife, I love the way he looks at Laura. It shows what's in his head. He is a very good man.

In the book "Bush on the Couch," a psychiatrist by the name of Franklin argues that Bush is a sadist who has Attention Deficit Disorder. He argues that Bush's quick decision-making style is really the result of an inability to stay focused, and that his willingness to send others into battle is really an expression of his sadism. For what it's worth, I think he's right.
