What area of history? US History I (preCivil War) US History II (post Civil War).
Try one of the search engines such as Google or Ask Jeeves and type in the key words of your search. Such as events: Revolutionary War, Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party etc. or names such as John Adams, John Quincy Adams. Use spaces between words and use several words to reduce the search. Write titles president, senator, vice-president etc.
