and how many times do you allow someone to break your trust before you stop trusting them??

I don't trust many people at all. I trust my spouse, my parents, a couple friends. They get ONE shot then I cut them loose.

I say you have to be pretty careful before you trust someone and people aren't always what they appear to be. Especially be careful with someone who is asking too much too soon. And I don't think I would allow someone to break my trust too many times. Trust has to be earned and it is hard to get mine back if someone breaks it

You know you can trust someone if you sit in a vehicle with him/her behind the wheel. In doing this, you're trusting him/her with your life.
If I really know the person for a long time, it takes 2 times. Otherwise once, however I don't trust people I barely know.

In my past I gave chances, and I learned to not do that anymore. When someone screws up bad enough, they don't get a second chance.
You either trust someone, or you don't and once trust is gone, I don't believe it ever comes back.

I don't know, but if you find out a sure fire way, please let me know. If someone breaks my trust once, I never really trust them again. I might say I do, but I don't.

I learned a long time ago that you truly can't trust anyone and consequently became as independent as I could.

Um...you don't....the best you can hope for is someone who is sincere...even then don't give your secrets away to anyone. Trust is something that is earned.

when you feel not to betray others and others do not betray you..
In fact i do/will not trust anybody in the yahoo answer and internet after i was betrayed badly when i have not done any wrong to the person...
