I got my period on August 8th. It ended on Augest 15th. Now...I have it again? Its only been a week and a half since it ended and 2 and a half weeks since it started. Should I be worried about anything or is this normal sometimes? Im 16, and had my period for 3 years now.

It takes a while for your cycle to be regular (26-35 days) & even when it is, stress, illness, medication can throw your hormones off. If it continues, I would make an apt. with your doc., if you haven't done so already since you started puberty.
You could also become anemic, if your cycle is off & are bleeding more.

First, I would make an appointment with your gyn and be sure there is nothing that needs addressing.

No, you really don't need to worry, because a cycle runs 21 - 28 days, and since you are still young, it probably hasn't settled into a routine. Don't use the same day each month as a start date for your period, due to the fact that some months have 4 weeks and some even have 5.

I have the same problem! The only thing that stopped it was birth control, and now Estroven. It's available over the counter (rather than birth control) and controls cramps and bloating as well.

My sister used to have her period almost every other week and it was always accompanied by crippling cramps. Now it's at it's regular time and the cramps are mild. Yay for Estroven!

If I were you I would keep a log on the times and if its heavy or not.But stress can cause a lot of havok with the body. If you are really concerned talk with your doctor, or school nurse.

You should go to the doctor and ask them about it. It's probably nothing serious, but just in case you need to get that checked out.
