Lets say in your nation that the government was leaning tword a facist regime

Just as the Germans did in the 30's you want to believe it isn't so

That no really bad things are happening in the camps - they just couldn't be -

But you start to realize they are -

How would you from the inside launch an appropriate counter to the growing facists in your nation ?

What would you do or not do that is or was different than those who dissented in Germany's facist movement . What lessons would you draw out of their failures to stop Hitler before he became as big as he did ?

You make a good point but do you really think that was the hinge pin of how an entire nation evolved into barbaic practices mass murder and world war ?

There had to be a lot more to the story than Bob gave up his hunting rifle don't you think ?

But yes again that was one of the many steps Hitler took to make his life easier

The only thing that could stop it is exposure of the plot. Educating people of the forth coming fascism state would be how you could do your part. This is happening now as a matter of fact!!

Nothing since fascist movements cannot become large in the first place unless both the government is ineffectual and the economy is trashed. In such a case, the government would not have the power to do anything.

The biggest mistake that the German people made was to give up their right to private ownership of firearms. It was all under the guise of making the country "safer" but we saw the outcome.

The government is supposed to fear the people; the people are NOT supposed to fear the government.

Fascism is rooted in nationalism. If you want to stop it, you have to find a way to make people feel foolish for being nationalistic.
