how can you tell if its light or regular.

It will depend on how often you're changing your pad or tampon. If you're using a Regular and needing to change due to leakage every 3 hours or less, then its moderate to heavy. If you can use a Regular for over 5 hours your fairly light.

And if you're using a Super and soaking it in an hour or less then you're REALLY heavy. And if you do this for more than 2 days straight, you need medical attention.

It's light when your flow lasts for 2 days and regular if your flow lasts from 6 to 7 days.

Light: 1-3 pads per day

Medium: 4-6 pads per day

Heavy: 7+ pads per day.

Use smaller pads, so you can see how the flow is, then you'll know which one to get.
