Yes...dont you see that after they leave the house they are always taken away in handcuffs

Yes, they are arrested after leaving the house, but many states and localities have been unable to convict them and many have gotten off clean. I'm sure of all the details, but the defense lawyers are getting them off claiming that the police needed to have overseen the original online conversations and whatnot, when Perverted Justice did it and then just told the police about it.

When the shows originally aired a few years ago, the producers did not coordinate with the local law enforcements. So after they interviewed the guys, they would let them walk out of the door without being arrested.

But after the show became popular, the producers of the shows partnered with the local law enforcement and arrested them after they interviewed them and let them out of the house.

Some were convicted to jail time, others were just given probations and community service. While a small number of them were found not guilty and allowed to be let go. However, all of these guys will have to live with their national fame for the rest of their life.

Yes. And one commited suicide before the police outside his house arrested him. His widow is suing the pants off NBC, "Dateline" and Perverted Justice (the "consultant" to the "Dateline" series). I hope she wins big. The last thing we need is electronic vigilantes.
