I just read an article that a couple in my state live without electricity, heat, a/c, or any modern conveniences. They do have one battery operated fan and a wood stove.

How long would you survive?

We have a cabin in northern Michigan and all we have is a hand pump outside and a wood stove inside. It doesn't have any insulation in it and my wife stays up there with her dog most of the summer. Can't get to it in the winter.

I think I could get settled in alright, but like Elizabeth said living without running water would be the hardest part...not that I ever bathe, I just get thirsty alot.
