If it would be any musician, dead or alive, this would be my line up.

Vocals - Jon Bon Jovi (of Bon Jovi) - He's got a great voice, and he can still use it.
Guitar, backing vocals - CC DeVille (of Poison) - He's got mad skills, and can still shred harder than anyone
Bass, backing vocals - Gene Simmons (of KISS) - He's got the battle axe, and he can still play some awesome bass lines.
Drums - John Bonham (formerly of Led Zeppelin) - He used anythign and everything that would make noise, and made it sound awesome.

If it would be just musicians whom are living, this would be the line-up.

Esscentially the same for Vocals, Guitar, and Bass.
Drums - Phil Collins (Of Genesis and solo) - He has some mad skills, and plays left-handed, something I can relate to.

My line-ups are made of mostly 70's and 80's rock band members because that's the music I grew up on, and I've learned to appriciate it.

Everyone in the group needs to be able to stand on his own two feet musically. Rhythm, pitch, and improvisational skills are an absolute must and he needs to be able to stand alone as a solo performer, then he needs to be able to fit and blend into the group. They all need to be like that.
