im 26 and have a GED how do i become a therapist?

You will need:
1. Bachelors degree.
2. Acceptance into graduate school ( Good transcript from your bachelor degree and an acceptable score on the GRE).
3. Masters degree in counseling or related field.
4. Practicum (about 6 weeks).
5. Internship (about 6 months).
6. Licensure (ALC and eventually LPC)

Sorry, but you've got a LONG road ahead of you.

First, you've got to go to college and major in Psychology. Then you've got to get into grad school and major in counseling. Then you've got to pass you licensing exam.

Sorry to shock you, but that's what you've got to do.
