I find it difficult to accept that you so easily forget the scandals that occured during the Clinton presidency, or the bribes Mrs. Clinton accepted as a Senator.

As a general rule of thumb, all politicians are crooks. The trick lies in electing the one that does the worst job of being a crook for as long as possible to minimize the amount of damage that can be done when a really big crook sneaks in.

I don't quite understand the rest of your point, though. Technically, Hitler was an extreme liberal. Does that mean that nobody should be a liberal because Hitler was one? I don't think so. Likewise, as a fiscal conservative it is my belief that the economy operates by granting tax breaks to the populus that allow them to invest more money into the economy, rather than taxing (and thereby punishing) those who are the heaviest investors in the economy to give that money to those who did not earn it.

I think you will find that answers your question. Liberals are nothing more than flip-floppers who say what people want to hear. To be honest, I like Bush, though he is not perfect in all his decisions. Barbour, the Mississippi Governor is awesome...he has brought Mississippians together after having gone through the WORST natural disaster that New Orleans got the spotlight for enduring when Mississippi was the one who took the DIRECT hit.

The stupid media is so liberalized that it made New Orleans look like it was the one who took the direct hit, but it was on the WEST side of the storm and was saved from a direct hit. It was the man made error that caused the flooding there...if it were a direct hit, New Orleans would have been part of the Gulf forever.

If it would have been Gore or Kerry in office right now, we'd be having more terrorists taking over, and we'd be at war on OUR turf. Would you rather have war in your backyard or in Iraq?

I am not really a conservative or a liberal, but I definitely cannot put my faith in the liberals these days...they have dumb people running for the candidacy, and if you pay attention, you'll see that they change their stories much like they change their underwear.

It's easy, I have lost my mind. I can keep my values and disagree with corruption whether that be liberal or conservative. By way, the administration is certainly not always conservative. Sometimes it seems liberal.

Your question could be valid if you used the word neo-con instead of conservative...Bush is NOT a conservative. If you want to know why people are still conservatives, take a gander at the constitution, and think about the fact that our founders were conservatives...True conservatives.

Although Bush isn't all that conservative I can at least take solace in the fact he's permitted our military to take the eraser to the enemy. And he's done this while being kneecapped at every turn by the dems.

Because they truly believe they are right. I actually went through a period where I was leaning more right and did a great deal of research and well, couldn't do it.

But I don't think we should condemn either far left or far right, I still believe that most of the country is very moderate. Unfortunately, people view Bush as moderate, he is not. I think that's the confusion.

I love these questions. They are all the same. You provide not one single specific incident or shred of evidence to debate, you simply say that all Conservatives are evil and anyone who considers themselves a Conservative therefore must be evil or stupid.

Please learn to form your own opinion and make a coherent argument. Name calling is simply cheer leading for your favorite team. If you simply wish to cheer for your favorite team, wait until football on Sunday. When you go into the ballot box, please for sake of the rest of us, educate yourself a little first.

Being a conservative and being a Bush fan are not the same thing. To answer your original question.... it;s because I have a greater understanding of how our country works, and should work, than an average 3-yr old

What makes you think this administration is conservative? I think you are getting the Republican Party mixed up with Conservatism. Try again.

Well, I reckon you do not know what a conservative is; it is a person who does not want the world to go down the tubes just to keep the pollsters happy, who is willing to defend his country and way of life instead of allowing illegal aliens to run things.
Ask yourself: are we going to all be killed by illegals? or by terrorists? or by a crazed China/Russia
It is your choice, but the end result is guaranteed.
