put up a flyer at the grocery store instead of "handy man" do "handy son", one that will come and take your cans to the road for you (1.00 pre can), mow or rake your yard5.00-20-00 depends on size of yard), pull weeds from flower beds (5.00-15.00 depends on size of bed). each task has a price. After he exceeds his 25.00's, allow him to keep it up and start him a savings account, so the next time he needs money for something he wants, he will have it.

type up a flyer for your street and close walkable places and put in each letter box available service and why if trying to raise money for good cause. leave phone number.
Suggestions: Mow lawn, weed gardens, wash wheelie bins,
wash car, take dog for walk, vacuuming, wash windows.
Unfortunately you have to be cheap for people to bother sometimes as well.

Have him go door to door offering his services. I've hired several children for garden chores this way.
