Vegas is probably the best place to be for a dancer. Not the cheapest place to live. UNLV is full of daytime students/ night time dancers. Look carefully at each club because they are all at different levels. Just be careful. Probably would be a good move for you. As long as you have some savings to take you for a little while you should be fine.

making it in vegas is a gamble just like in the casinos. Some make it and some don't. If you are good at what you do and have high self esteem then you can make it! I see you have higher goals like going to college which is great! Just stick with your plans and stay away from people who may want to use you! Vegas is a tough place to get a break but you dont know till you try right? It isnt expensive there to live because I have 3 friends who live there and were kinda in the same situation you are in and are doing fine. So, make friends that have the same interests as you and stick to your goals! Good luck!

As the other posters mentioned, Vegas is a great town for dancers, exotic dancers that is. Over the years, I have had friends who moved to Vegas to dance, some even came just for the weekends to work, and flew back home, wherever home was, because Vegas proved to be profitable enough. You can always come out for the weekend, or try to come out during a convention, and test out the waters. I am confident you will make your plane fare back, and then some...=)

Good luck...

I think it is good for a while. I moved here for work & work is good. You should try it! You should get a job befor you move. You can go on line for each casino & look for what they have open. You can get a studio for about 600.00$ But any thing by the strip is pretty much the getto. North Vegas is a SCARY part!!! I live on the west side & it is nicer. Good luck darlin'!!

I'm sure you'll do fine in Vegas. Not sure where you live, but I think it is pretty affordable to live here (but I came from Hawaii).

We moved here a year ago and love it.
