I'm a USC fans because i live in the area of greater Los Angeles, but Miami was my first true team am a fan of since the late 80's, they're so dominant during that times. And it's hurt me for so many peoples to bad mouth one of the all time great college football team, but i understand peoples will stomp on you on the bad times because you beat up on their team for so many years. Miami was such a dominant team for so long that peoples will always try to sneak in a punches went you on your down year. But don't forget peoples Miami produce some of the best players in the NFL over the years more than any school in college. Go Canes! and Fight On!

No denying the U brought out ( and still does ) some great players. They are known in some circles as TE U for a reason.

But, unfortunately, in recent years they have not been very circumspect in their recruiting, and have brought in some players who have really hurt the schools reputation (look at what one offseason did for the Bengals).

Certainly that little brawl last season is still fresh in everybody's mind also. But I believe if they work to improve their academic and citizenship requirements, they will shortly be back where they once sat, as a prominent FootBall program.

(and don't forget Shockey, Winslow Jr, and Magahee)

Though I gotta admit, I don't see em taking cracks at the U that often.......unless it's those LSU hosers or something.....they seem to be taking shots at everyone(and anyone notice how their population base seemed to suddenly explode this year......wonder if a bandwagon went through town........)

the reason everyone has a problem with miami is because alot of guys from the past who went there dont have very good reputations. ray lewis had the murder cloud hanging over him in 2000 and they've had several other players with arrest records. it didnt help when they let linebacker willie williams come to school in 2006 when he had already been arrested seventeen times. he's not at the school anymore but even letting him in was a bad decison. miami has a past history of people who the public considers to be 'thugs' who attended school there and that is why alot of people talk bad about them.
