I have some shirts with it around the neck collar, and some even with a wring around the wrist collar. Is there an easy way to get rid of it?

pretreat with Shampoo, or rub with bar soap; soak w/ vinegar or lemon juice (and may have to put it out in the sun to dry & bleach up), or white chalk --just rub it as a pretreat b4 washing.

The husband wears these shirts daily and always has the rings. Because of the volume, I generally use regular bleach on the whites and a color safe bleach for the colored shirts. Be carefull not to overload the wash, it will not get it out. Once I started using a smaller load and washing with a bath towel in the load, have not had to use a pretreater at all. Warm water/ cold rinse is what I use.

Dawn dish-washing liquid does the job. Personally I like their new foam kind.

Squirt some soap on the collar, fold the cloth and rub the soap into the collar, then pop it into the wash.

Pre-treating it with shout and then washing ur shirts with oxy-clean should help. If its really bad, where u've let it build up for too long, then u're pretty much outta luck.... :)
