Please help...I have read many books but can't find one with this in it.

Perhaps The Book of Shadows by James Reese. That is a very bizarre novel anyway.Pax - C

Bel Canto by Anne Pratchett (sp?). It does however foreshadow that death will occur to others of its characters--is that ok?

Stones From the River by Ursula Hegi mentions early on what the main character (who is born at the beginning of the book) still thought about when she was an old lady, so maybe that counts too.

Technically, I'd go with just about any novel with first person narration in the past tense. So, any novel where the character says "I did this, I did that" as opposed to "This is what I'm doing right now." If they're dead, technically it would be hard to dictate a novel. Though not necessarily if it was a fantasy novel...
