I always listened to Sublime and thought they were so down to earth, happy, easygoing kinda band, but today I was looking at song meanings to "Don't Push" and someone said the whole song is making a lot of reference to racisim..which they do, but I thought he was saying it in the sense of, if you're racisit...I'm gonna bust your lip. Are they racisit? Or are they all about equality?

Bob Marley was a big influence on Bradley Nowell (the lead singer)........when he was in his teens, he sailed down to the Carribean (it was where he fell in love with reggae and dub) with his father and witnessed some racist acts firsthand......he was also really influenced by KRS-ONE and the riots that were happening in Southern CA
