In 1997, when I had mine done, along with 10 new outlets and two new switches added in, I paid around $2000 the whole thing. Also two new light fixtures.

That's impossible to answer without knowing the details of the installation. How many circuits are on the panel now, how many more would you like, what's the capacity of the new box, what does the electrical building code require, where is the panel located, is the space easy to work in, is the current wiring up to code, or will they have to replace some of that also?

An electrician will have to look at it to give you an estimate.

depends on amps 100 or 200 for most homes the cost of matirels is not all that bad . but if you need to hire a pro to do the job it could be alot . but really this most likely is a job for a pro so you should call one and get a estmate

Less than$2.00 for the part and of course you must have a very knowledgeable person or and electrician to replace it.
