It was Bill Hutton and up until recently he was still performing the role every few years. He last performed it at a theatre in Upland, CA called the Grove where he still performs special Christmas shows every year with Dale Kristien (one of the famous Christines - Phantom of the Opera). He's good freinds with the owner of this theatre, Sheri Kinison. Sister-in-law to the late Sam Kinison.
