Good tips for getting babysitting jobs?

I can never seem to get anyone!
Its not that im not responsible or anything, just no one ever calls...any tips!?

If you want your neighborhood or apartment complex, then I would suggest you do a marketing flyer in MS word. Put in some very sincere items like: reliable, dependable teen neighbor seeking babysitting jobs on weekends, evenings, etc. Put your name and phone number. Put "references available" and have previous households you have worked for that will give you a recommendaton. Pull some clip art on it of a telephone ringing, pics of kids laughing, toys, to make it more attractive. Put them on each neighbor's door (not the mailbox as with no postage, this is against the law to put mail in the box without postage!) and the phone should ring!
