Sure she's rich, she can afford lyposuction & a fancy house that she likes to show you pictures of. But can she once, JUST ONCE do something good for others that she doesn't make a production out of? She's the queen of, "...but enough about me, what do YOU think about me?"

Dave,I dont know you, but I'd rather watch you read the phone book than watch Oprah do anything. I just read an article on the state of New Orleans and couldnt help but wonder why Queen Oprah hasnt done more for that city. She's from the South-right and a lot of the people who were displaced were black-right? So why doesnt she step in and do some good with all of her money? Does it sound like I dont like her? Good-that was my intent.

Of course Oprah is a celebrity with everything that goes with it -- but personally, I think she's a good person. I think she's real.
Definitely a positive roll model.
When all the other "talk" shows were going down to Jerry Springer level, Oprah kept ,and continued to keep her show high chararcter.

by her showing everyone, it convinces the viewers to do the same. she's done so many projects in africa and everyone knows because she does make a production out of it, but the production is inspiring. wouldn't you think?

I was a guest on her show, it's amazing what she has come from and all that she has accomplished, she did work for the majority of what she has.
