I loved David Copperfield - as soon as I finished reading, I started to read it again because I just couldn't leave those memorable characters.
I also loved Tale of Two Cities - the ending is very powerful - I am talking about the French Reign of Terror - when Sydney Carton sacrifices his life for the husband of the woman he loved - how I cried.
Actually I have read other Dickens' novels and I am inspired to want to read all of his work because there is really no one like him.

The Great Expectations.
i know some people find it boring and tediously long, but I really enjoyed it at the end.
In the beginning you get a sense of "Harry Potter" (only without magic), since there's an orphan kid living with his only living relatives, but it gets deeper than that. A great plotline, too.
