It doesn't have to be a life-or-death situation but the last time you thought you were in deep trouble.

I just bought a brand new TI-84 graphing calculator and somehow deleted the main operating system. I have to have that specific calculator for my Algebra II class. My parents were complaining just because they had to buy it. They would have killed me if I told them "I broke the calculator and you can't return it". Luckily I fixed the problem.

This summer I was riding with my wife and another couple in a fancy new car that the other couple owned listening to their XM radio while they let me drive since I was the only one not dead-tired by the end of the trip. I was driving in the middle lane of the high speed Interstate highway and just as we were starting to go past an exit ramp an idiot driving a truck in the left hand lane realized he had missed his exit and swerved in front of me to get off the highway at the right. Luckily my reactions were fast enough that I was able to swing one lane to the right and he passed just inches in front of me without a collision. I know my reflexes were much better than those of the neighbor and I am sure that if he had been driving they would still be scraping us up off the highway.

There were two times. Once when I was riding my bike back across the road from my friends house and I almost got hit my a car (completely terrified me). Then another time, I was riding on my friends back in the pool. Of course, I didn't know how to swim. It was like a 5 foot deep pool, and I was only like 4'5'' at the time! And I was maybe 8 years old. And SHE DROPPED ME AND SWAM OFF!!! OMG....I freaked out but luckily there was a rope in the middle of the pool. :'(

I was in moderate rush hour traffic on my motorcycle, on my way home from work.

*I was slowing in traffic when I noticed that the car in the lane next to me was going WAY too fast.

*He shot into my lane directly in front of me.

*I swerved my bike between lanes and gunned it.

*I ended up in the intersection, just as the light turned red.

*Rubber side down; no fuss, no muss.

riding on a motorcycle down the freeway, pulled off on an exit ramp to make an adjustment and a car flew off the overpass onto the freeway we would have just been on.

friday i went swimming with my fiancee in this creek in the woods that alot of people go to - its a very pretty place etc - well, i was in the water and felt something go around my arm - i looked and a huge water moccasin -poisonous snake- was around my upper arm, like going around it,and its head was directly under my face looking up at me between my boobs! i screamed and took off out of the water - and the damned thing chased me to the bank! it was about 5- 6 feet long. i normally like snakes, but that scared me sooo bad - so i guess it was a close call that i wasn't bitten.
