Yes I did! I was SO mad at my fiance at the time too! He was a truck driver, and he KNEW I had made plans for us to go to Cripple Creek in Colorado, YET, he decided to take ANOTHER load when he was supposed to have his home time. So, I said %^#$! It, and went by myself. It was an ok time and would have been better if I hadn't been stewing the whole time!

I've been going alone for the six years I've been a widow, traveling wherever I get the whim to go. I don't get depressed seeing couples on their honeymoon--it's their time now. Bless their souls.

Yes, I went camping on the beach in Southern Florida. My parents stayed with my Aunt there.
I do not feel depressed seeing couples on honeymoon. In fact, I am happy they found each other and have love between them.

I'd love to, but it would be dangerous. I just don't think it's wise as a single female. I would go to one of the islands and make friends there. I hate happy couples when vacationing, even with friends. Mostly cause I'm jealous.

no, but next summer I may. I go on vacations with a female friend and it sometimes depresses me. My friend is a widow and I'm divorce but we are grateful that we like to travel together.

No, I'd rather do like I'm doing in a couple of weeks...paying someone else's way to keep from it. Unfortunately my husband can't go this time.
