I live in Black Oak, Arkansas, hometown of lead singer of group. I'm only in 30's so know little about them. Husband is closer to 50, and said lead singer is 10 to 12 years older than him. I really only know one song, and it's played in few movies- one that comes to mind is "Road House". I can't say title because he says his stage name in song. 10 points to anyone that can tell me something about them-- example lead singers stage name- real name would be really awesome.

Google the group name, and it comes up with all their albums, their names ( including Jim Dandy), and all the history of the band, including band fan-sites. the originals were Harvey Jett, Jim "dandy" Mangrum, Pat Daugherty, Wayne evans, Stanley Knight, and Rickie lee Reynolds.
