How old were you when you were first offered drugs or alcohol?

I was offered drugs first, I was 10 & my older brother tried to get me to smoke weed with him. He said he used to shot-gun me as a toddler. I'm not kidding & I don't really think it's very funny fyi.

Edit: He was 10yrs older than me just for the record.

I started smoking when I was 8 years old. Started sneaking alcohol around 9 or 10. I started smoking weed shortly after that. I started shooting dope when I was 13. I was an acloholic by the time I was 16. I was in my first rehab at 20. That time failed miserably and I ran the streets in and out of jails and institutions for another 10 years. My son was born while I was in jail and I lost custody of him (thank God). I went into my second rehab when I was released and spent 9 months, 20 days in a residential program.

I'm 15 years clean and sober (October 1, 1991) and have full legal, physical custody of my boy. My son saved my life. I never knew what love meant to me until I had him.

Around 11 for alcohol. I would have a drink with my family. Never drugs.

i became sixteen while i became first presented drugs. I grew to become it down. Alcohol? i became never truthfully presented alchohol. as quickly as i became sufficiently previous to run into the kitchen and get my dad a lager and open it, I took a sip. in basic terms one however. yet I took a sip each and each time I further him a lager. Now I hate the stuff.
