be wary - marine engine oil ratio mixtures vary greatly. a little bit of research shows the sea king uses either a 16:1 or 24:1 ratio depending on what type of bearings the engine has (bushings versus ball).

buy the little bottle of mix oil for 1 gallon of gas oil mix. It will say for marine use. it is synthetic and is adequate for any ratio when using it for 1 gallon of gas. Since it is synthetic it won't foul your spark plugs.

50 to 1 should be right, (2.8 oz of Marine outboard 2-stroke oil to every gallon of gas, so you need 8.4 ounces to be added to your 3 gallon fuel tank (2.8 x 3 gals = 8.4 ounces of Marine outboard 2-stroke oil), add oil first, then fill the tank, it's easier.
