No.
There is no "pot of money" that your future Social Security payments will come out of, Social Security is a giant (legal) "Ponzi Scheme" run by the government that relies of the working population growing FOREVER....which is just not going to happen!
If you are under 45, don't rely on it even being there by the time you retire!

No, you can not borrow money from Social Security. When you reach retirement age--they will tell you how much you will receive.

No, if we are lucky there will be enough money in the system so we can recieve S.S. when we retire! Do no retire and plan to live on S.S. it may not be there and you will be S.O.L. Make plans now for a 401k, save money, invest, buy a house! Plan now!!!!!!!

No you can't - they are just showing you what credits you have toward eventual retirement benefits. There's nothing there for you to borrow from.
