Sorry I don't know how much it costs. I had a breast reduction done I was a 42DD and now I am a 34C but my insurance covered it completely due to the medical complications I was having from being so top heavy. Check into your insurance especially with back trouble a lot of them will pay for it because it's for medical reasons. I also didn't get to pick what size I wanted reduced to the Dr. proportioned to my height and weight. Having the reduction was one of the best things I ever did.

It can be covered by insurance if it causes any health issues like back pain and grooves in your shoulders.

My insurance paid mine 100% ($8,000).

My surgeon and I talked about what size I would like to be. He said he could get me to either a small/med/large C, and I asked for an average C. Depending on how you look when they open you up and what the requirements are for your insurance company will depend on what size they could take you down to. It also would depend on your breast health, they do not want to take you down too much and cause you any health risks. Though from a DD to a C should be no problem for them (as you see I went from a J cup to a C cup no problem!).

If you want get done for breast reduction. Most insurance will not cover. More likely you will paying the surgery and other expense. But you can call your insurance agent. Let me tell you, breast reduction could be expensive for reduction. I'm not saying this expensive or what?

I am a 36 DD as well and I was looking in to it, but I was told that you couldn't pick the size you wanted to be because of blood clots and other problems. I was told that the plastic surgeon would make the healthiest decision based on your body. But anyways, a friend of mine got hers done for 10 grand before insurance. But most insurance companies will cover it, if you have more weight in your breasts compared to the rest of your body mass. (Or if you have back pains).

In this case, you get what you pay for. It's probably about $5,000, but go to someone who has done at least 200 procedures. Ask him for phone #s of people who had work done by him. I think you'll be very happy you did this, btw!! Good luck to you. :)

Prices can vary greatly. However, it may be possible to get it covered by your insurance if it is causes chronic back pain.
