Probably not. After the encircling movement where the Germans captured at Kiev over 750,000 Russian solders; Hitlers' own intelligence confirmed that Russia had no military reserves left. Whether that was an oversight or a clever Stalin ruse, we'll never know. But we do know that when Stalin's master spy in Tokyo informed him that Japan's eyes were elsewhere; he diverted his Siberian division (trained in winter warfare) to Stalingrad.

No because of the way the Russians were fighting germany was only weeks from being over run . they might have been able to fight longer if hitler had let generals run the war but the out come would have been the same. also if germany had not stoped when they did they would have had atomic bombs droped on them the russians were not fare off from having a working bomb.

No. It wouldn't have mattered. Hirohito screwed the whole pooch by attacking the wrong country. If he had stuck to the plan, Japan would attack Russia from the East and Germany would attack from the West, thus squeezing Russia into the middle, weakening morale and restricting movement in either direction. Instead, Hitler and his generals were stuck fighting an enemy that could just continue moving until the German supply lines were stretched beyond capacity, so it wouldn't have mattered who was running the war, Russia was not going to fall.

Attacking Russia was always in the cards for Hitler, he not doubt wanted to prove that he was a better man than Napoleon was. Hitler's generals were afraid to go against him.

I don' t think so. Generals working under such dictators are normally not trained to take their own decisions
They are forced to obey what the dictator says blindly.
So even if they would have handled the war it would have been the same , might be messier than Hitler's plan

The generals would probably not have launched an attack against Russia. Hitler was in over his depth, but I suspect the generals would have had more sense than that.

The answer is a definite maybe. The generals were much better strategists than Hitler.
This question cannot be answered with any degree of certainty since no one really knows what would have happened in any particular circumstance. Historians have enough trouble explaining and agreeing about many past events.

It is possible, certainly more likely. However part of the problem was the invasion of Russia was delayed several weeks because the Germans had to help their Italian allies in Greece. Those extra few weeks might have been enough to take Moscow before the onset of winter.

No because the Russian winter and war on two fronts destroyed the Nazis.
