falling off cement stairs and splitting my head open when I was around 1 1/2 years old. I can still picture the whole scene up till the doctor was stitching me up and everyone was holding me down. The rest I've sort of blocked out.

Standing in my grandparent's dining room, watching my grandpa say a prayer before Christmas dinner. I was not quite 4 when he died, that was his last Christmas. I only have 2 short memories of him like that aside from the day of his funeral. So I cherish those memories very much. He was a farmer, I remember seeing him standing there in his overalls he always wore, with his pliers in his front pocket. My mom always said you had to watch out for those pliers, he liked to pinch ppl with them!

This one time when I was 11 and I told my mom to shut up and her boyfriend was there and so then he called my two other sisters and me and told them ok this is what happens when anyone shows disrepect for anyone else in this house and he made them circle around me and him while he proceeded to slap and hit me and ask me how that feels and that this was the same kind of pain I just gave to my mom but internal. I will NEVER forget my mother's weakness that day and how both my sisters just watched. ANY of them could've helped me but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM just watched. I'm a lot older now but I've never been able to forgive them for that. My pride and my sense of being loved died that night and I've spent the rest of my life trying to get both back.
