A blank mind. Broken hearts are a dime a dozen, and can be gotten over. People do it every day. A "useless" body, or at least a profoundly disabled one, won't slow down people like Stephen Hawking or Helen Keller, who not only find ways to cope with their physical limitations, but also to excel. But a blank mind? What good is that to humanity, or to oneself?

A broken heart can be healed
a blank mind just needs to be filled
and a useless body is a vegetable

so i'd say the useless body.

Solarius has a great point though.

A broken heart can never fully heal, a blank mind sometimes happens, and a useless body can't be used.

A blank mind.

A heart thats been broken can mend... into a stronger one if lessons are learned. A person with a broken heart can still contribute to society.

A useless body would indeed be a nightmare and a burden... but a person can still contribute - Stephen Hawkins for example.

A blank mind robs its host from living a rich and meaningful existence and sucks off everyone and everthing w/o giving anything back but waste.

A useless body. That's got to totally suck! I rather be sad or not be able to think than to know that I'm frikin paralyzed!! What a sad life! That itself would give me a broken heart and a blank mind, because I'd go crazy!

At least with a blank mind, you wouldn't know your life sucked...

a broken heart is terrible. We lost our son and my precious Mom,
several friends and family members from cancer. We have another
friend and her husband both have cancer. She is worse off and things
don't look good. But we trust God to heal her. The blank mind--part
of me--rats!! Useless body getting that way with severe arthritis.
However, I thank God that the Drs. were wrong. I'm not in a wheelchair.

A broken heart can be mended and a blank mind can be filled, a useless body would forever be useless.

a blank mind. mainly because a broken heart can still live and heal [[not heal completely but slightly]]. and a useless body will still have a mind they can put to use. so having a blank mind would be almost equal to being dead in a way. thats just what i think. =]
