Bang on. I'm a United fan and I agree with ya on looking ordinary. Ironically, they looked better the last 3 games than today but took the points on this one. No one out there has the inspiration for goals. Nani's shot was the only one of two? that seemed to ask questions today.

Dead wrong on the PK though. Clearly off the chest. Besides, unless you truly believe a conspiracy of Juve proportions you can't be serious about SAF having anything to do with the non-call.

In my opinion, Man Utd have generally been playing some very attractive football so far. I have seen all of the games and they really deserved to win each one, with the possible exception of the Spurs game that they actually did win!
The problem with United as I see it is that they just don't have the 30 goals a season striker that every great team needs. OK so Rooney is out right now, but even on form he's a 15-20 goal a season guy. United need anyone from Owen, Anelka, Defoe, even Crouch... someone to get on the end of all of the good link up play.

Was that Nani goal ordinary?

Id like to see your team on the end of that belter!

Yes, we didnt play that well, but we played well in the previous games (a lot better than the other team) and still lost!

Someone said we have too much talent, well in part that is true. Look at the English team- so much talent, but where is the success. United are different, we are still the Champions, the hardest part is keeping the title and Chelsea knows that only too well.

United are a side with too much talent and this is causing the hiccup in form. The pressure on the players must be intense. I suggest you wait until everyone calms down because then you will see some really beautiful football.
By the way, there was no grounds for a penalty today; the ball clearly hit Brown on the chest.

On occasion they have looked a little ordinary but every team is going to at some point at the season. The standard of the teams across the league is getting better every year and therefore more difficult for whoever is going to win the premiership.

Actually Utd lost to Portsmouth last season, and have lost 2 out of the last 3 away against City.
So, i would never have thought Utd would've walked over them.

Hoped, maybe...

calm down.. United have actually played well this season ... but sometimes you need a bit of luck ...

Anyone who watched the City game knows that they scored with the only shot they had... that game was one of the most one sided, where the dominating team lost.

So if Man Utd got lucky yesterday... thats what the game is about ...swings and roundabouts..

all teams get good and bad luck... you don't like them much do you... ☺

I'm a United supporter. I actually think we did look a bit dull today. However in previous matches despite results their play has not been bad. Have to wonder if people will be so delighted and critical of and for other teams when their rough patches occur, and they will. No one is immune .

Yeah they actually do if Rooney comes back it will not help anything as he will need about 5 games to get his bite back if you ask me they are not coming anywere near the Premiership.
