I am building a big radio controlled boat from lollypop sticks can i get them free from some free shop somwhere

If you write to the different lollipop manufacturers, and let them know what you're doing and why you need the sticks, they may actually donate them to you...

go to fairs, i went to one last night and got lots of free ones.
