I think you are referring to the Westin Casuarina Hotel and Casino. It's on East Flamingo Road, about two blocks east of the Strip. It once was the site of the Maxim Hotel where a great many scenes in the movie "Casino" were shot. Sadly, none of that remains. Link is below.
